Pool Closed
The pool will be closed until Monday August 16th due to fecal matter being found in the pool. As per the Health Department the pool has to be chemically treated in order to rid the water of bacteria.

Pool Opened
The bathroom repairs have been completed and the pool will be opened today 7/13/2021 at 3pm.
We thank all homeowners for their patience during this time.
Please report any and all issues to the HOA Management Office by phone (254) 760-0665 or by email Manager@ColbyHOA.com.
Keep in mind that any damages caused to the pool or its equipment is repaired using HOA funds. Homeowners are responsible for any damages caused directly by their Guests or Tenants.

Pool Closed
The Community pool will be closed until further notice pending much needed bathroom repairs. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working diligently to get the repairs done as soon as possible.
We would like to take this time to remind homeowners of a few pool rules:
1) Gaining entry into the pool by jumping the fence will result in your household loosing pool privileges' for the rest of the pool season. If you have issues with your pool card please call the office at (254) 760-0665 and we will be more than happy to help.
2) Cameras were installed and record ALL activity at the pool. Camera footage is reviewed by our office.
3) Access to the pool requires a pool waiver to be on file, if you do not have a pool waiver signed please contact our office.

Pool Update
The necessary parts for the keypad repair were not in stock when the vendor was at the gate today. They are being ordered/expedited for delivery tomorrow. We HOPE the repair can be finished tomorrow, but cannot guarantee that it will go as hoped for. (For example, Murphy's Law says the warehouse could ship us the wrong part)

POOL CLOSED DUE TO VANDALISM
Thursday evening the pool and playground were vandalized. Vendors were unable to repair/replace the damaged keypad at the pool during the day on Friday.
The pool will be closed/locked this weekend as a safety precaution because the gate will not close.
Please check back at this website next week. We'll post updates as they become available.
THANK YOU for your patience as we work through this issue. We truly regret that the actions of a troublesome few have caused this problem for the entire community. Remember, if you see ANY suspicious activity at the pool at any time, CALL THE POLICE!

Pool Maintenance Update
We know this is not the ideal time to have the pool out of commission, however the water filtration system has an air leak that is causing the chemical feeder to not function properly. The pool company owner was onsite personally this afternoon to troubleshoot the problem, and supervise the shock treatment the pool is currently receiving. The re-opening of the pool is our top priority, and is the top priority of the pool vendor as well.

A NOTE ABOUT PAST DUE BALANCES AND POOL CARDS
As a reminder, it has been a long-standing CHVHOA policy that homeowners with past due balances over 30 days old have their pool cards disabled. If your card
is disabled for this reason, your card will not be reactivated until the balance is paid.
When your balance is paid, your card will be reactivated upon our
next visit to your pool. This can be the next day, or it can be three days. We apologize for the inconvenience, however please recall that the pool card would not
have been disabled in the first place if your account had been kept current. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Good news! After a longer-than-desired winter break, the pool is now OPEN. Also, the community website is up and running, which will include a
user forum by the end of the weekend.
There are two types of login credentials for this website. The
Owner Login page uses a login name and password given to you
by the
Management Company; please send us an email to get those credentials. The user forum lets
you create your own login name and password; they are
different, so please remember that your forum login does not work on the Owners Only area, and vice versa.
